2010: Reaching the Ethiopian Nomads Wh0've Never Been Reached

After gaining a strong foothold in Piedra De Agua, Nicaragua, Thousand Hills Mission is setting its 2010 mission sights on the African nation of Ethiopia.

The nomadic Taposa village has been identified as a group much in need of the ministerial and veterinary services offered by Thousand Hills agriculture ministry and animal mission.

Taposa's are a nomadic people who travel with  their herds in Ethiopia and Sudan. They depend on their animals for food, transportation and in some cases a source of modest income.

Necessary treatments such as vaccinations, wound
treatment and anti-fungal preparations are either
unaffordable or most likely, unavailable.

That's when an agiculture ministry and animal mission such as Thousand Hills becomes so critically important to these remote villages.

Christian veterinary mission volunteers provide medicine to care for the animals and people receive spiritual care through the saving Word of Jesus Christ.

Seeking to safely minister to some of the world's
most remote villages, ministry president
Mark McBride says he doesn't seek to save "thousands" of people at a time, but rather intimately introduce Christ to others, "one person at a time."

McBride feels the more remote the village, the more its people will be in need.
